Eligibility Criteria & Terms
- Eligible: Retired personnel from Indian Army and CAPFs (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, SSB) with Bihar Domicile.
- Ineligible: Ex-servicemen previously discharged from SAP, ERSS, or Bihar Home Guards due to misconduct or administrative reasons cannot re-apply.
- Medical Category: Must be in medical categories S1, H3, A3, P3, or E3 (SHAPE-1 preferred). A medical test will be conducted by an Army/Police medical board.
- Conduct Record: Must have an “Exemplary” or “Very Good” discharge conduct record.
- Other Requirements: Must be trained in modern automated weapons. Ex-Army personnel must hold active ECHS membership.

- JCO Post: Maximum 52 years
- SAP Jawan / Cook: Maximum 47 years
- Upper Limit (All categories): 56 years absolute maximum under any circumstance.
